Best Mod Under $50
I don't think I have seen it anywhere, but figured it was good idea for those of us looking to do the little things to our XJs on a budget.
What are some of your favorite things you guys have done for under $50? Whether its for exterior, interior, comforts, recovery, protection, audio, anything!

One that I am in the process of doing is cutting the hinges to take my doors off. Spend about 15 bucks for disconnects for the wires and another 15 on dremel cut of discs.

My front bumper cost me $35-$40 to make (mig wire, paint, 2 1/2 reciever), steel was all scrap I found laying around. Gave me recovery points, and also radiator protection.
Free mod....Cut and roll fenders and quarters for that extra inch, lol (only if you don't care about resale value, haha).

My favorite cheap XJ mod has to be my DIY cold air intake. take out the plate next to the radiator in front of the airbox intake, take a piece of flexible duct and run it to the front.

Isuzu rodeo bastard packs were a real 3' lift for $18.00 at my local pull-a-part.
I was able to score a pair of V8-ZJ front coils for another $18.00 as well.
What are we up to? $36.00???
Longer metric grade 10.9 bolts from AA and 8 pcs of 5/8" nuts for spacers was like $8.00, for the T-case drop.
$44.00 so far, but it's like $40.00 for the 1.75" coil spacers I need. That's a damn travesty I tell ya!
