That's understandable, I personally like archery more than guns but I love them both. I'd say for sure try archery out

I've gone to an archery range and rented several times. My problem is that with every hobby comes a price tag. We almost bought 2 kayaks this black Friday but decided to wait until spring. $$$$$

Yeah rather expensive. Arrows are what really gets me. I have a recurve that was only about $150 so that's not bad at all, it's just buying arrows, sights, and other accessories that are way expensive. But I have a solution. Primitive style archery with no sights or other doohickeys

Yeah, my problem is wanting to do a new hobby and pouring a bunch of money into it and then it just fizzles out. (Mountain biking $$$, golf $$$$, wood working $$$$$, Jeep-in $$$$$$, and the list goes on) My wife says I need to stick to one thing at a time! So when I don't go wheeling for the sake of wheeling (tear-in it up and fix-in it) I think I'll start just using my rig as a means of transportation instead of a toy. I can start something new. But for the sake of doing something that my wife enjoys I think I can try Kayaking, Ha! ha!
