Just do an engine swap less problems, more HP and lower cost all around.

Lower cost for an engine swap vs. a supercharger or stroker? I'm not so sure. Maybe the cost would be lower if the only thing you have to pay for is the engine, transmission, and a rebuild and your actually able to fab all your own adapters and mounts. But if you don't have a welder, plenty of extra metal laying around, and everything else that's required in a swap then it costs an arm and a leg to buy the necessary conversion kits, pcm to control said new engine, etc.
