Yeah the one I got is technically the right size; only issue is the pipe its connected to is rounded on the sides, but squares off a bit on the top and bottom, so there is like a 1/3" gap on the top and bottom. Hopefully its small (or big) enough space to not make a whistle? lol
haven't noticed any so far...

Old thread, just thought I would put an update; IDK if this thing true stainless steel, we have that "mag chloride" here in the winter on the roads for Colorado, the tip started developing rust spots around that time, fixed it mostly with rust remover. The bolts on the other hand rusted real bad. I have been tightening it up every 4K or so, one of the 3 bolt heads actually snapped off, ha. So somehow with 2 and and the third still tightened with no bolt head, its still there, but with the seeming quality in mind probably not going to weld it on; still fairly impressed to last over a year for $14, kinda beefs up the exhaust sound (at idle)...
Anyone have suggestions for "light" rust repair on rear quarters and rocker panels?

Cut it out and use fiberglass repair kit. This thread reminded me of this clown near where I live with a fart can on the end of his exhaust.

The exhaust tip looks fine. It is your Jeep. Do what you want to it. Don't worry about what others think. Although the "Mack" bulldog bolted to your hood would add that missing little touch of class. Sounds good on the fiberglass idea, I will look into that, thanks.

Haha, yeah a Mack truck bulldog would be cool; I always liked the older Ram emblems better though.

Yeah, you don't need them, especially if they are rusted, so cut em!
