Default Brushguard's?

I have looked and searched for a bolt on brushguard to no avail. I have a stock 2000 cherokee with the factory bumper. All I want is something to keep my headlamps intact.....I have busted 3 in the last 6mo's. I dont want a major bumper, I dont have a winch (well ya, she stays at home) All I want is a bolt on brushguard? I'm in the blue ridge, and I run over saplings and briars constantly, so thats all I need. Should I weld something up homestyle? or does anyone have a link for me plz?

Lol its a small dumpster. Naw, I bought the jeep 2 years ago with a blown engine and perfect body for 500$. I put a 500$ used engine in it, and before I could finish the install I pushed it out of the shop. bout an hour later I heard a crash and saw this.

Waste industries paid for the damage, and my jeep is good now. used fender/hood and some rattlecan forest greem mettalic. 10k miles later, I'm needing a brushguard.

I love my jeep! I got a 2in (cheap) lift to go on this week, so I want to keep my headlamps.

Still nothing. Does anyone have any good pic's of a homefabbed one, or even some spec's? I'm getting ready to screw up, and I wont stop there! Really, I dont want a aftermarket bumper or winch, just something to protect my headlamps from light duty impact's. I really do have extra headlamps due to this. I will weld somethig that looks like crap as a threat!

I can't count the number of bush guards I've had to cut off because some owner thought it would protect the front end of their rig. I've had to cut them off to get hoods open and watch them go right threw radiators. Also what are you doing running over trees and brush.

It's my JEEP. lol I'm the Blue Ridge of SWVA. our trails and mountains are quite fun. Ever wonder "who made that trail to begin with"? I dont headbutt 100yr old redwood's, but a 2in sapling? "Your going DOWN!" lol. I go all kind's of cool place's normal people dont go around here, I guess I should start posting pic's. Irongrave, sell me a good/cheap used headlamp protector. I'll pay shipping and all for the right price. Remember, I'm not trying to protect paint. just tryin to keep glass off the ground.

Check craigslist and junk yards, that works out pretty good. I wouldnt spend $200 on a new one when I can get a winch bumper built for under $300.

for that price you could buy yourself a nice bumper thats 10x as strong and will look alot better in my opinion. your choice though, those grille guards are made out of cheap tubing and wouldn't stop anything, they just fold and bend and break. and not to mention they are WAY overpriced

Mine doesn't cover the ends, but, it does have a stainless steel plate underneath to protest the steering and bottom of the motor. I got mine off craigslist for $25 it's off an m class mercedes and came with the lights
