Yeah that was my mindset it's already set up how I would want it. Im confident doing body and metal work but not pulling an axle and swapping gears. Not sure if this one is geared though all I know is somebody polished or replaced the diff cover. so I know someone's been in there. Guy who owns it didn't do any of the work so he doesn't know. And front diff cover is green along with rear drift shaft. Those are just some clues I remember. And how rare is a sun roof? I suppose it could be aftermarket I didn't really look at it well I was too busy looking at the rust lol.

Dammit you guys are making me reconsider lol. Found a 96 2 door 5 speed https://ocala.craigslist.org/cto/d/96-jeep-cherokee/6253017453.html I love manuals but not sure if I like the 2 door. Might look at it tomorrow but still considering this white one.

I've always preferred the look of the 2 door over the 4...I'll own one someday...haha
Keep looking. You're bound to find the right one.
BTW, take what Bimmer says with a grain of salt...his looks like this:
Which is why I nicknamed his ride "The Barnacle", LOL

Well I decided to ignore all the good advice and bought the Jeep anyway lol. Got it for 1800. Going to knock out the floor boards next week shouldn't be too bad. My only issue I'm having is bad vibration starting at 50mph and above. Progressively gets worse the faster I go honestly scared to take it past 60. What could this be? It's almost like a driveline vibe but the Jeep has a sye and TC drop.

No I didn't I only test drive it to like 45 lol I didn't go far cause it has no plate and speed limit was 35. But it's not wobble at all thank God I dealt with DW on my zj pissed me off. This is a very tight vibration the whole jeep vibrates you can see the mirrors vibrating. Similar to an old GMC I had with a bennt driveshaft buts it's tighter faster vibrations if that makes sense.
