He wants 3800, im going to offer 3000-3200 its got 160k
v6, interior, exterior is fantastic. Still not sure, I know what I want, and value wise I think its a good deal. Let me know what you all think. I already have plans to tweak this zj if i do get it.
1997 Grand Cherokee LTD.

Welcome to CF Chad.
First of all I don't think you have a V6, more than likely 4.0L inline 6.
As with all vehicles these models have their issues, but for the most part that mileage should not be a deterent. Take someone along who has automotive background and look over the vehicle for signs of coolant and oil leaks.
Look around the trans pan they leak alot and the front diff pinion seals blow out alot.
Good luck.....looks like a nice Jeep

Seems a little much for it. I got my 97 limited zj for 1900. Interior be exterior is pretty much mint. And only had 130xxx miles on it.
Looks like a nice truck but I would try to talk him down a bit more.

Agreed. ZJ's are pretty cheap nowadays. I think $3200-3800 is WAY too much.
Also, ZJ's had some bad trannys after '93 I believe. If I got a ZJ, it would be a '93 w/the rock solid AW4 tranny.

I paid $6,000 for my loaded '97 Limited Orvis 3 years ago. That's not a bad price for a clean Limited with no issues. JMO
Check it out thoroughly, look for signs of leakage at the diffs, engine, and t-case, and make sure everything works, and see if there are any codes stored. Here's how. >-> Jeep Horizons :: View topic - Jeep Computer codes (OBDI & OBDII)
