Bye Bye XJ
I Finally Found A Buyer For My 2001 XJ Sport 2wd 4dr. Paid $3700 Cash For It. Didn't Even Bother Test Driving It Or Asking About Any Mechanical Issues. Said He's Owned Many Jeeps Before. And What's Really Cool About This Is Him. I'm Enlisted In The USMC As An Aviation Mechanic And Plan To get A Motorcyle After basic training and buying another xj. this is the truth. this dude is a Marine who pulled into my driveway in a motorcyle and he is a mechanic. he's owned an xj before. and is buying another one? A Vision of myself in the future. Deja Vu?

Hey there 'Tenacious'
Your post sounds like my story....
I was right into 4wheelin' a number of years ago when I was in my late twenty's / early thirties.. but got a bit bored and decided to have a go at motorcycling. The first bike I bought was an '81 CB650 Custom which I cut my teeth on before getting rid of it and buying a '99 Suzuki TL1000.
Had the TL for about two years, then traded it on an '05 Triumph Speed Triple.
If your story follows mine, you will have a few REALLY close calls and decide 'Bugger That'... life is too precious to eat tarmac, end up has a hood ornament, or worse, wheelchair bound.
Sold the Triumph, and bought the XJ - haven't looked back... (and I still have the use of my limbs)
