Default CB antenna mount feeler

Ok, so I've fabbed up a couple of these now, the first on my rig and the second for my boys rig. They work good and get the job done (I've been running mine for over a year and its solid). The idea came about as I was figuring out a good solid functional mount for my CB antenna, as I built the second one for my boy I started to wonder if maybe others might be interested as I think I have a good design. I'm gonna throw up the couple pics I got and add some more detailed pics as we do the install on my boys rig. My questions are, would anyone be interested in a mount like this? What do you think a fair price would be? So far I've fabbed a drivers side for mine and a passenger side for the boys. It mounts using one of the existing tailight bolts and an additional bolt inward of that using a self tapper. Let me know what you guys think, good or bad, I can take criticism as well so dont be shy, I'm not about to try to sell something that is'nt top notch.

What exactly is the point of that ? There's a guy at my college who drives a 4wd Blazer with one of those on it and there's this old long bed 2wd Dodge Ram with one on it too.....

Mines a slightly different design, a little simpler, mounts different, So I dont really see the issue there.

CB radios require an antenna, helps you communicate with others on the trail. Did you really ask that question?

I just hooked up iphone to cassette player adapter and was able to talk and here them over all the speakers..... There's nowhere close to get out far in a trail enough for CB radio to matter around here imo.

Around here, we get up in the mtns where there is zero cell phone service.

LMAO......cell phones are not the almighty and it may be a shock to some but they dont work everywhere......and if ya aint getting out of cell phone range with your jeep i think your doin something wrong.

CBs are nice for close range[5Km MAX] communication unless your running an amp[but thats not allowed] and unlike phones dont cost money to use.

VHFs are better, but you need a license to run one.
