I actually like this, keeps the speaker where u can hear, and up out of the way. Can't find a bracket made for the xj though.

Looks good. I can't take out vents in Arizona lol I might die. Are u hooking up an external speaker somewhere, I don't imagine u can hear it too well mounted in the dash?

Mines to big to go there and I bought 2 little speakers and a Y cable! They are going in that spot and on the other side! I would have bought a regular cb speaker but I like things to be symmetrical lol!!!

Got the top piece bed linered! Going to start all the wiring soon!!! Damn school tonight though!

I never use those vents!! I find they dry out my eyes so I always have it on the windshield! The windshield one is still in tacked!

I have a tone of wiring to do I have those fans and then the cb and then I'm relocating some stitches I have all ready to here

The switches are going on the thing that says push and then the other buttons that say u.s. Reset and step are being re located to infront of the light buttons and I'm putting in a volt meter where the buttons used to be! That is for a future project, dual battery set up but I figure since I'm going to be drilling through the fire wall mind as well get it all done at once!!!! And I'm gonna get Mr. Yellaxj to make me some vinyl stickers to label the switches

I'm runnin a Cobra 29LTD, a pretty big CB. So I just have it between my seat an console. I'll get a pick in the morning but it keeps it nice and snug. I run the PA and coax cable under the seat and hide them in the kick panel. Power goes to the cig lighter and hid that wire under the console so all that is seen is a plug-in. Been good to me.
Now I've got a 32in waist so it might not be as comfortable for a bigger person
