I've been looking for a cb and I see prices all over the place. I found a cb radio, mount, antenna, and mount for about 80 bucks.. I was wondering if that was a good price for all of it? I've heard people say cb's are really cheap, but I've also heard they're a pretty penny. So I was just wondering whats a good price range.

 

The guys at our local overlanders club recommended a handheld cb for occasional use. I'm sure I could find a craigslist cb for cheap, but they take up a lot of space.

 

Look at Walmart for a cb. They usually carry the cobra 19 for like $30

 

I have one from Walmart which it ain't bad for close range use. But any distance and it ain't with crap atleast I don't get any out of it. I'm looking to upgrade to the cobra Ltd 29. Positive that's the model. Has good reviews and everyone I know with them are pretty pleased. It's just going to run you a little more in the price department.

 

I just got my uniden 68 lx from best buy online for 75 buck including shipping

 

Check the local pawn shops People sell CB's all the time.
