15x7 is recommended up to a 10.50 tire. I ran 34x.10.50 on a 15x7 wheel w/4" backspace and it was damn near perfect. Cleared the LCAs, and stuffed the tire just inside the stock flares.

If i had gone 15x8, prob would not have been able to pull that off.

Some guys even say 15x7 on a 12.50 is the "poor man's beadlocks" lol.. I know a 15x8 is a common size, but because 33x12.50 is what so many guys like to run. For a 12.50 tire, 15x8 is better, but I like 15x7. 10.50 tire is just so much easier on front suspension wear as well. Just my opinion though.

A 235mm wide tire is 9.25". A 10.5 would be about 267mm.

Well I want to go bigger eventually and it would be nice if I didn't have to buy rims and tires next time like I am now.

Btw, I want a beefy m/t that lasts a long time. More off/road than on.

Remember with beef tires need to start looking into upgrade parts for steering depending what size you end up with

31's at the most unless you want to really trim the hell out of your fenders.
