I love it, shame its not a Hemi!
Actually 13.5 not bad for a toy when a 25 year old 935's go for 35 grand and up or a good street rod goes for about 25 grand and up. Hell you can't even buy a good Harley for that, unless you want a Sportie.

Ya you wont need that much money because it will drop. If I was gonna try to sell something for that age/price I would have amazing exterior/interior. Cool idea I guess but I doubt you get back what you put in.

The description says "LS1 crate motor"..........the plastic engine cover says "Corvette" and there is a difference. It would be a lot of fun to drive and I would bet it gets better mpg than the Jeep 4.0L.

building that will cost about that much and you get to keep the experience in your back pocket.
my biggest problem with buying highly modified rigs is that, when something breaks, you gotta go to autozone and tell them that you want an intake for a 94 corvette, ball joints for an '87 XJ, wheel bearings for a '69 Bronco, an ash tray for an '88 escort, and a whatcha-ma-call-it that looks kinda like this and you don't know what vehicle it came from.
when you do your own build, you at least know what you're putting in there.
this is just my opinion...
I'm a mopar guy and if i would to do a V8 swap, I'd probably do a 5.7 or 6.1 HEMI(not really a hemi, but the next best thing), or maybe just a 5.2 or magnum 4.7

yeah, it's kinda embarrassing to call that a Hemi. 5.7 or 6.1... my buddy got mad because i told him that it was a hemi.
he said: really? is it a 426 or a 383? or does it at least have hemispheric head?
i just stood there and blinked...

I like that it has HP d60s, but there's no way he only has 4" of lift. 35s with that much clearance between the tire and the BW, no way. It probably has 3" blocks.

X2, my buddy bought a 96 wj with an atrocious 9 inch lift, a late model 8.25, different model 30, and a whole slew of other crap. Oh and his tranny was swapped for the part time 4wd option. Needless to say, I have given up on helping him. It breaks even if he thinks about going off the pavement and basically he bought a polished turd. Start from scratch, you'll learn more.
