I saw something like this on the show Pass Time on the speed channel. Someone had like a 10 second 1/4th mile pass in a Jeep....crazy.

 

i'd be all for it IF it was 4 wheel drive.

I think that's a little over-worked for an 86! I'd like to buy a vortec v8 for my jeep in the future.

 

apparently you guys dont think mid 9 second 1/4s are cool...

i do agree the price is a little steep buy the amount of work in that jeep is phenomenal.

i've seen the beast in person. It is not 4wd, it does retain the front 2wd "blank" axle though.

 

Eh... would much rather stick to crawlin my cherokee, and going fast in my 71 big block Dart. But pretty cool none the less.

 

Different strokes for different folks I think. I dont think it was the best way to spend your money but hey if the guy wanted to do it, then more power to him. The money he spent building that he could have given to me so I could build my XJ up a little more, lol
