If Jeep brought the XJ back into production, they would probably screw it up and make it an IFS front axle. The same way they have done every other vehicle except the Wrangler. Bring back the solid axle, true off road capable vehicle or stop using the name JEEP. No more soccer mom driven, mall cruisin, fancy pants, cushy seat sissy trucks.

What would be really sweet is if they brought back the J10 put it on the Dodge 2500 frame. That dude would be ready for some hauling.

I would like to see a diesel powered J20 with some big axles under it. Give it a small amount of retro styling, but don't go overboard. I would definately by that.

Don't you mean sissy CARS? I don't think half of them deserve the truck title as they can't perform any common functions of a TRUE truck. All they can do is fit a few grocery bags and keep the kids entertained with spongebob in the DVD player.

Smile new XJ

I would most certainly buy a 2010 or 2011 XJ with a V8 and Dana 60's with factory lockers front and rear..

We went to a Jeep Dealership to look for Rubicons and they had a new Liberty there. It was parked in one of those mowed ditches that they display vehicles in. They had it flexed in the ditch and the back right tire was about 8 inches off the ground...
