Cherokee MPG Poll
#16
I went by the fuel gauge and knowing my tank holds 20 gallons. At the the time too I had 215/75s on it. I divided the milage on the trip meter by how many gallons I used. Not how many I put in. I've never been good at math so it wouldn't surprise me at all if I was wrong. I did think I got an unusually high number but at the same time I didn't really care because 99% of my driving is city and I get 11mpgs there.

Those of you using the gauge and figuring mpg on a quarter tank are wrong... unless your ch is different then mine. Mine fills up past the top mark and sits at the top for a while then starts to move faster the closer I get to empty. My buick before the jeep did the too. The Tacoma on the other hand did not seem to have this problem.

the only idea ive had behind it is the shape of the gas tank
the smaller has the rounded bottoms giving less surface area, making it drain quikc once it start to get to the bottom where the tapered edges are..
but i cud be completly wrong

I added some more feedback figures showing more rig setup data to the results page so you can see more of what the setups are being used for the mpg's people are getting.
When I get more time I will do some of the more difficult result comparisons.
Here is the results
