The Cherokee Wave
my dad always gives me **** about how if I had a Wrongler that other wronglers would wave at me, so lets start waving to Cherokees and try to start something

I wave at other xj's but usually don't get one back. I know when riding with my dad in his old cj7 he gets a wave by every jeep on the road pretty much lol...must be a round headlight thing

Yeah, it seems to be the unwritten rule that lifted rigs get the wave FAR more often than stockers. It's kinda like a respect of dedication thing.
Sucks for guys like me though. I got the heart of a hardcore wheeler but the shallow pockets of a vagabond. So stock is where I sit. I still wave to every XJ I see but more than often just get dirty looks.

haha i used to get waves in my old lifted yj so its not a round head light thing lol. i always wave at lifted wranglers now with my xj and i dont get waves back and im on 33s and its always muddy haha

Lots of waves around here. Not really a fan of it. Got really sick of it from riding motorcycles. I very rarely wave back unless its a cool rig or at least clearly used.

I was one time at a stop light and this chick was waving like crazy at me, guess she just got her a wrangler, a lil 4banger, stock, and i couldnt help but giggle at her and felt sorry for her I did wave back cuz it is the wrangler law, but oh so lived it when my Yammer Jammer roared and left her sorry *** behind! Lol
