A big bowl of vinegar works. Just sit it in the xj overnight.

That smoker smell never goes away, you just get used to it.

bowl of coffee grounds under one seat and a bowl of baking soda under the other .leave them there for a week and replace weekly till smell is gone. After you clean the heck out of it first..it works.

Baking soda & dryer sheets are most effective in my experience.

I use one of these "fogging" systems and it worked pretty damn well in the past.

Now I only need to spray this once in a while to totally kill the smoke smell:

I do autobody and often have vehicles that smell. I use febreeze for cars (Wal mart) and a product called 508 made by Sprayway .I relly like the 508 it cleans just about anything but leather and has a smell that reminds me of spearmint gum but not over whelming. I buy mine from my auto paint dealer. May take several applications of each but then just use each time you clean your interior. Good luck!

OP. I guess I have to ask what the point of all this would be if you continue to smoke in the Jeep everyday ?

It might have even smelled like bacon, you know, since it was a fat guy. Fat guys love bacon.
