Clear side marker and Signal question

hey guys i just ordered clear side markers and turn signals I wanted to know in NY, Long Island if I need to have amber bulbs in them or can I just leave them clear?....thanks guys

you should be able to leave them clear

i would personally just put in amber bulbs just to be safe and so other driver know what your doing, think about it, when you look to see if another cars turning, are you looking for white or amber?
