Well right now its 0 degrees out with a windchill of -15 and I decided to wash my xj at my buddys house in his heated garage...
Dried it thoroughly and let it sit for a few....

Pull my xj outside for a couple hours and when i goto leave and my doors wont open, let alone my doors are all LOCKED... ok so I heat the driver side up with my lighter get my jeep warm and got the doors open now the kicker is....
I goto shut my rear driver side door and it pops right back open?
Hmmmmm....
Soo I grab a screw driver and get to playin with the lock itself and come to find out that its not catching on the door latch so therefore not letting it latch all the way and close properly... Augh its the little things that tick me off long story short got it shut but when I goto open iit again, it wont open so hopefully everything is just froze and will be all good tomorrow we shall see....
But did a little bit of snow wheelin today and also my buddy got stuck in his grand cherokee and that's when ***** came into play.. hahaha I said I knew this tow rope would come in handy....

 

Happens to me up here I sprayed seafoam spray into the door latch and key hole. To get it to shut I just kept shutting it hard till it caught.
That seafoam spray is the poo in all apps or pull back in garage

 

Ps not to hard just short fast shuts

You sure the arm that grabs the post isn't just sticking?

Common problem, esp in winter.

Now that its shut its probably just frozen shut.
