I see them that clean here around metro Detroit from time to time, but I'm always impressed when they're clean AND 4x4. And yes, when i do see a clean 4x4 comanche, the price generally reflects that...

I looked for a few months, they pop up but rarely for less than $3-4k. I settled for my pair of XJ's for $800 instead...

well shoot there is a guy a couple months back on one of the boards I frequent had a pink commanche for next to nothing I mean like 1000 bucks I think it was 4 wheel drive to boot, came with a parts commanche too. Sounds like I should have picked it up lol.

Low miles, low rust, 6cyl, short bed 4x4 you could easily get several thousand. They're rare and not many were made or well kept.

I see MJs fairly often on Craigslist for $500-1500 fairly often, but they tend to be really high mileage rust buckets.

MJs are rare, but not collectable rare. i wouldnt pay thousands for one. i paid 700 for mine but it was exactly as motorcharge said, rusty and high miles!

A lot of people post to cl that their car is rare, the only rare thing about it is the year and its still clean, in md they are a bit cheaper but are not immaculate, if I had the money I would pay the higher amount for a bone stock 4x4 auto 4.0 that was absolutely clean, as if it came right off the showroom floor

depends on the area. they are not rare at all around here. but there was an AMC plant nearby.
