Just tell her the suspension is shot and the lift is cheaper than getting oem parts. A rough country series two kit starts at 350. But that's with an aal. Can't beat 350 for a new suspension. If you get full leafs it gets more expensive but still.

Does she have to come up with stupid excuses for you when she goes out to get her hair done or buy makeup ?

Actually the 3" with AAL is $250 plus shipping.
All the more reason to buy one!

dont get a lift then, just go out and get yourself some 33's and cut the hell outta the fenders!!! bam problem solved, bigger tires=more ground clearance and no lift. kinda like a win win

Wow. Not quite the advice I was looking for, but if I ever want a divorce I'll be sure to take your advice. Some of you seem like you have some cool wives and the rest...I can see why your not married, if in a long relationship at all.
I was figuring people would have some input rather then just regurgitating that I need to grow a pair after the first guy, but I can see how it's easy to fall in line after the first insult is said.
Any who thanks to those with some real insight.

And a woman's opinion!!!!

I loooove Jeeps and Jeepers (who aren't a holes). I'm the type to say, go ahead, so long as we gots finances under control and not depending on paycheck-to-paycheck kind of living. Id make my man put lifts and tires on mines first! Lol!

First off! Your wife is just as kool as anyones wife. They all just have different ways to be kool! She is probably telling you no because she doesn't see a viable reason for money to go to "waste"(I don't think it's a waste but anywhos....). Try explaining to her that bills are paid, things are going well and that you just want something that'll give you something to do. Explain to her that EVERY man likes his ego stroked once in a while, just like women love to be cherished and given attention to. Tell her this will give you a little bit of that ego you need as a man. Talk it out(communication is key!). Use your charm that touched her heart in the first place, that made her marry you Tell her the Jeep will look sexier and she will look like a bad ***** in it!

Once you get the lifts, give her a ride in it out in the woods She will probably never again say "no you can't get it..."

I've never been in a situation as such, but im sure that day will come, and I don't think my man would get to the point, that he's gona have to have my permission. I don't care, so long as what's important is taken care of first. And he has to remember, my turn WILL come when I want something lol
