A while later, but would still like to know if anyones got anything to add about this. Better performance? Sound obnoxiously loud? Is it even legal to not have a muffler in most states?
Was thinking about doing a catback system, but if you can gain just as much or about the same power, ill just cut the muffler and tailpipe off.

first i had all stock and then i lost my tail pipe hunting and it had a good sound when you punched it but was quiet when you were just normal driving. then about 3 months ago going to an off road trip doing 70 mph on the highway i lost the muffler and it got real loud when sitting idle it is just growling then when you hit it it is loud as hell thought it was good at first bc i was scaring the crap out of people with it but it just got annoying after a while. so i but a super 44 off road edition on and just with a normal cat and down pipe and it has a good clam throat to it but when you hit it hard it sounds great

i love it i wheel with two other guy that have it with hi flow cats and you need to run a full pipe out the back bc it sounds like there is a piece of paper in the muffler lol but full pipe with hi flow sound just about the same as mine with stock cat and down pipe but may have a little more of a throat. i also have mine tucked like a 1/2 inch away from the floor so it is level with the frame rails and won't get hung up on things.
