Can't we all just get along ? I paid half for my XJ and parents paid the other half... I pay for all repairs and gas and insurance, and does that matter ?

So are we talking middle class or upper middle class? And the name of the game is wealth, not income. So drive a homebrew junkyard jeep Cherokee and save your money while having a little fun. And kid, if you're paying for your own repairs, gas and insurance, you're OK in my book : )

not sure the point of this thread......other than maybe someones feelings got hurt
i had help buyin my XJ too when i was 16 but i paid it back, it was a stocker at the time and now its far from stock i fix it.....actually thats a lie, if something breaks that to me means it must be a weak point and needs to be upgraded and i pay it all on my own. i also do all the work and that means buying the necessary tools to do so.
i still dont get the point of this thread though.....ya want a pat on the back or something?
