I had them in 33's. Work great forward. No lateral stability, and really loud.

Thanks guys.

So are they worth buying , mileage?

By lateral stability do you mean side hills?

Thanks

Yes, side hills, ruts, even inclines on the street in snow/ice. I got good mileage out of them. Sold them to someone on here I believe.
It depends on what you are doing to say if they are worth buying. If you like mud, some rocks, some sand maybe than yes. If you do minimal mud, and more rocks, than I would look at the mt/r or KM2 over them.

I think you just sold me on them, LOL

I was going to go with swampers then cut them. But I would get crappy mileage and larger pricetag.

The km2's just don't cut it where I wheel. Although I love the look!

The mileage is what I was concerned about.

Good news.

I love the federals I run, so it will be a toss up between the crushers and the federals. Federals = poor mileage though.

I looked at pit bulls and the creepy crawlers, but you are talking 400+ a tire. And that is not in my budget.

The crushers I found in a 35 for 243 a tire. or basically 1000 shipped to my door. Which is doable.

TSL's are about 1200 and need to be cut for what I do.

The mileage is what I was concerned about.

For what its worth I have run boggers, tsl's, creepy crawlers (2 sets), iroks, and km2's all with the same motor, tranny, and rear end ratio, and never had a noticeable change in fuel economy.

I think you might be putting too much thought into it, unless you are a hypermiler.

Thanks, but I meant mileage out of the tire. Not fuel mileage.

As in off roading? Trails, muddy slick trails mixed in with some rock. Ditches, creeks, etc.....

I am picky on tires, especially when I am spending a grand!

If you're looking for mileage out of the tire, i wouldnt be looking at pitbulls and creepy crawlers.. For something you drive everyday some Firestone MT, Toyo MT, KM2, or maybe some MTR's. I'm not positive how long the MTR's last (heard around 35k, may be more or less.. not sure) but it's not uncommon for people to get 50k out of toyo's and firestone's MT tires.

If you get TSLs or anything Interco, get the bias. Yes they ride worse but way cheaper than the radials and every single swamper I have ever seen failed (sidewall torn, etc) was a radial.

I wish I only had to spend a grand on tires.
For what you are going to do I think that you will be happy with them. The only thing better maybe a swamper, but your not going to get the mileage you want. You could look into a tsl radial. Look up reviews and mileage.

got 55k out of my km2s til they wore to the wear bars. And some of that was with a spooled rearend.

Everything else was a more aggressive tire. Tsls, creepy crawlers, and iroks all wore pretty quickly.

Yea, I know the first two and even swampers don't wear that long. But they are more of a performance tire so I would be able to sacrifice a little mileage there.

I had the mtr's before. Great street tire in my opinion. But not agressive enough for what I want. Same with the firestones. The km2's are definitely not on the table. All those are street tires in my opinion. Not really looking for that.

The crushers seem to bridge the gap. Little more agressive, but maybe some decent mileage.

I have had the swampers before, truxus (were horrid in my opinion) mtr's were great for a street tire, and I had the bfg AT purely street tire. And dick cepek fun countries(which I liked) but you can't get any longer.

My brother has the mud rovers which work great except in deep mud, LOL. We pulled my friend around in is toyota with km2's, so they are out, LOL.

That is why I was asking about the crushers.

Thanks for the input.
