that just made my night...i have been searching for a nice bumper for cheap and thats the exact look i was going for and its definitely affordable.....i mean i only payed 500$ for the jeep so why would i pay that much for a bumper that wouldnt make sence to me......think i should go with the renforcement hardware?

As far as reinforcements it depends what kind of wheeling you'll be doing? But always, it could never hurt.

yeahhh i dont do anything to serious just the occasional trail riding......last time i got stuck i know its extremely stupid but it was pitch black out i wanted to go home and my buddy said put that strap on your sway bar....so i reached under and put it on what i figured to be the sway bar got yanked and both tires went in lol it ended up being the tie rod and man did i feel dumb.....we just left the strap on put it over the axle and pulled it backwards....soo i want to get something strong and with some places to hook up a strap so i dont make a mistake like that again

not saying anything bad about jcr at all here but on ebay some guy makes bumpers out of his garage and you can get a front and read bumper for an xj made with the hoop and d rings and all that good stuff for 400$...now thats cheap

Check how it ties into the unibody. What thickness of steel. EBay bumpers are junk.

I'd like to say that as long as you're not burying it to the point where you're needing to be snatched out they wouldn't be necessary.

+1 a bumper in the air is a DANGEROUS projectile.
