Cables
Great XJ
I love TX, sure hated to move to PA.
Being a previous DISCO owner, I have used the cables. They are super off road, as they divide the limbs avoiding ripping off your rack/lights/gear overhead. But they are illegal on the road in many states.
IF you want a laugh read some of the land rover post oversees. Our governments worry about a pedestrian somehow getting cut from cables yet somehow thinking the 4000+ lb truck would not have killed them.
I hated to bring this up but do not want you to be staring in your review mirror at flashing lights.

Very easy, I just open my door and lift it off.. just like the wranglers. I love riding with the doors off, I get a lot of looks and a lot of thumbs up, waves, and compliments.
Of course this pic is an old one from last year.. My Jeep has changed a lot since then, so I am sure it will get a lot more looks this summer lol
