Some states you have to run the tube half doors and a driver side mirror to be road legal.Besides that there is no reason you can't take them off it.

I go offroading with mine off no issues not once has it folded like a taco.

After you cage it. Doors can come off without a cage or stiffeners, But I wouldn't chop the roof until it was caged.

Thank everyone who posted. The doors will be off! I don't know why people keep saying it will tweak the frame. All your explanations made a lot more sense than the bs some others are saying.

Seriously though, you'll be fine doorless. The Jeep can handle it no problem.

I did mine and haven't noticed a difference.
I unbolted the door from the body, then cut the bottom hinge and left the pin in the door.
Now my doors just slide off whenever I want (I have power everything so I have to unplug it too)

I've wheeled without doors, and noticed nothing with my doors being harder to open/close.
