Double bin with flip out.
Don't ask me how, I didn't do it, previous owner did. But I actually tore it out to do some work on the headunit, I can take a few pictures if people want.

I own a fab shop in Illinois and did a double din in my 98 xj, no biggie just had to chop dash bezel on bottom to fit screen and mine a little more since it swung low when opened, and on inside made own metal brackets to screw to radio and lower left and upper right to factory holes. Then had to cut duct work a little for Clearence but used flat plastic to glue back in so no leaks. Not really hard just time consuming, also added iPod/iPhone holder on left side. No pics of install cause I do this for a living and just takes patience not $$, anyone o you guys that mod your rigs can do, just gotta commit and jump in, think of the first guy to chop fenders or build bumpers for these, gotta start somewhere.

I am qualified to do aircraft fiberglass radom repair. It's not hard, but my goal was to make this look factory. I might give it a go myself. What's the worst that could happen...I have to buy another bezel? Screw painting it, Get it dipped!

Double DIN Ckerokee XJ Mod. well done
This guys does good work on all his Jeep work.
This Double din uses a Kenwood sleeve mated to the back of the factory bezel.
He also shows how to shimm the nuts with washers for a clean gapless install.
