I've run m 235 DuraTrac's since sep. of '09 year round. @ about 40k now and with some poor alignment on the front pass side tire for at least the last 5k it's down to the wear mark. All the rest are good to go for a while, but I think by this winter I way be needin a new set.

Either way, the dura's are an insane tire for an a/t! They have, admittedly, a 2 ply sidewall, but a 10 ply on the tread, so they are quite puncture resistant in that regard. Aside from the lugs, they have a considerable amount of siping. Siping being what allows for snow traction. Hence why I love running em year round! They are quite on road, too. I had some baldish wrangler a/t highway radial "tires" when I got it and the difference was incredible.

This is why ive been leaning on the BFG's because they last forever and they perform really well in any condition. Yes the Duratracs are probably better on rocks but ive heard they last half of what a BFG A/T would. I live in the desert so ill be seeing mostly trails, mountains, dunes, and some rocks nothing crazy though, however most of my driving will be on the road its my DD this is why im avoiding mud tires otherwise I would go with the KM2's easy.

Ill also add that I do have some experience with the BFG A/T's. My old 77 Waggy had them but I never wheeled that rig but on the road it was one smooth ride. Who knows how long the tires were on it and I probably put 30k miles on that truck myself and the tread was still good.

I'd say 40k, maybe a bit more on my DuraTrac's and idk, but I think they will need to be replaced by 50k... That's ok, they've been on for 2.5 years straight.. 100k on some bfg's? Holy damn.
