Engine head for XJ
Would an engine head off a 1997 Xj fit on a 1995 Xj?
About 2 weeks ago, i overheated really bad getting to a friend's house to change out his water pump and thermostat which ended up with me doing the changeout on the side of the road, well i wasn't able to get him going due to broken hoses and him not running so i had him towed to said friend's house and continued the work there. replaced the hoses, put in a new distributor cap, a few other things and had his battery on a charger all night and he wouldn't stay running for long and come to find out that the battery case cracked somehow and was leaking acid everywhere so we thought that was why he wasn't staying running so we went to get a new one and got it in and yet he wouldnt turn over fully and run and then he started smoking white from the engine block, so theres the possibility of a blown head but he doesn't have oil and coolant mixed with each other so that kinda throws dignosis off some but a psi test to a cylinder registered at 75psi while the others were at around 90psi so that put the blown head back in the game. i haven't taken it apart yet but if i do end up needing a new head, would an 97 fit on a 95?
