If you keep an eye out for small changes in operation and fix the small things immediately, the big stuff can't bite you.

Haha I think so.

But it just depends on what your goals are. If you want to have a car that drives like it would right off the assembly line, you will have to replace nearly every part- tre's, sensors, etc. It just depends on how high your standards are for your 10+ year old jeep.
