The only thing I would add here is that you should make sure it is the true three link instead of their Y link on one side only. Those upper adjustments on it are kind of weak. Also long arms give a smoother ride in the bumps and jolts

My only input is this...extensively modifying a Jeep is expensive it’s way more expensive if you’re paying
someone else to do the work for you . If you think you can’t afford it then leave it alone or re evaluate what you want to do with your Jeep . After a couple years of way too much time looking at XJ’s I think the best lift you can do is 3 inch lift and 31s .. they look great , are very capable and very affordable and you won’t need to regear unless you want to . Don’t rush into it.

I’m not sure of the exact costs but it may be cheaper to go with 4.5 inch lift, short arms and drop brackets. Also possibly some relocation brackets for the leaf shackles. The few bolt in drop brackets I’ve seen all say for 4.5 inch lift minimum. Probably won’t be a lot cheaper but cheaper nonetheless. Or as said a 3 inch lift that won’t require the drop brackets and regearing won’t be as necessary.

Default Thank you.

So Cost isnt an issue as long as i'm paying a fair price. I just wanted to makes sure i was. as far as a 3 inch lift goes that is something to be considered.

Anything above 3" should go long arm at that point. The geometry is just better. Drop brackets cheat geometry at the expense of clearance. Regearing has nothing to do with lift height, BTW...depends on tire size...
