Tell me about it, mine have been really sluggish lately, I should fill them back up and while im at it I was thinking about upgrading my brake lines for cross drilled ones so i can have better stopping power.

Being the student, i let all this go. He then told me he spent $500 on a 3in lift kit....with blocks for the rear.

But thats not all!!

He then asked me if i was going to do a body lift, since i only want to do 2 inches.

I had to walk away.
wow..

I got a buddy who took that class, my parents wouldn't let me for some reason, and everyone thinks he is a car genious. Because he got cirtified. Then i point out how i teach him things and his **** always has a major break down, but if you want him to work on your car over me. fine by me. but i can't fix his mistakes.

Those classes help people who want to learn but some how pumps out idiots in my neck of the woods. I dont understand how it happens because they know what they are talking about, they prolly take short cuts the whole time.

Ask him how often he inspects his mufler bearings. That'll be funny to see his face.

just do it yourself some weekend, then drive up to him and tell him you did it in your driveway in a day without a hoist.

when it's lifted, it's easier to show him why you can't do a body lift on an xj.

sounds like he used to own a yj... you know, the other square headlight jeep...
