Fair market price for a 2001 Cherokee (130K miles)
Hi,
Due to a personal situation we may have to sell our Jeep (original owners). We live in Mexico so I'm sure the markets are dramatically different. I tried checking internet sites to get an idea of price but I get a message 'due to critical supply shortage...'
The Jeep is in pristine condition (well it does have a small evap leak). If you can just put me in the ball-park.
Thanks

No clue what a fair price is in Mexico. It varies quite a bit across the U.S. In California, that might go for 5-7 grand. Northeast, probably similar. Other places, may be 3 or 4 thousand.

Ive seen XJs listed locally for $8,000-$20k here in Ohio but sit for 4-5 months then end up price reduced to around 4k and still sit for another month before actually selling.

Not trying to hijack OP's thread. I'm also wondering what XJs are worth at the moment. I've decided to let go of a 1991 4.0l 4 door Laredo, 298,500 miles, automatic, stock.
Sounds odd, I'm kind of more worried about it not being parted out - I know that's stupid, as it soon won't be my Jeep, but it's how it is. No rust (lived all of its life in SC, NC and GA, now in VA). High mileage, I know. Honest question about value. I live in Staunton, Virginia (zip code 24401).
Runs OK, Virginia state inspection through 11/30/2021. I have no idea what to put on the Craigslist ad. What is being greedy, and what is giving it away? Needs painting and a general tune up.

I'm up the road from you near Winchester. I think if you ask less than $4,000 for that you're crazy. Make sure you list it in the NoVa CL as well as Harrisonburg. There's more money there.

Trying to post in the Classifieds section regarding the white 91 Cherokee shown above, but it won't let me (I read the rules, and it seems I meet the criteria). Is there a moderator who could help me. Thank you.

Just so you know, any posts made in the off topic section don't count...don't know why that is, but that's the way it goes, haha
