yes i def love to stare at my work when i am done wokin on it. then when i am done wheelin, i like to stare at it for another 10 min or so before i wash it. i went to work once (military) with my jeep all mudded up, and the cops would not let me on base! i had to call their boss to let me on and then i was late to work. i see it as they were just jealous cause they probobly drive a civic or something.

how different it is from the other vehicles around town. You just dont see that many lifted xjs around where i live. (theres like 4-5 at the most counting mine and my cousins, so really like 2) Its a good thing and a bad thing.....good- very easy to find at walmart.....bad-for reasons unknow attracts the 5-0 very well

I love when I get in my jeep to start it and it takes about 10 seconds before she roars to life, and then I sit there a listen to my cracked manifold, tapping valve, nosiey injectors, slight rod knock and wonder why did I buy this. Then I drive away and everyone looks at me like what it this guy's problem, and remember why I got it, because it's a JEEP. I will never get rid of it.

Im not sure...im 17 and ive already had two of them and every time i turn around to look at another car i always find myself looking at more cherokees, I think the reason i love mine is because it shows up everything thats twice its size in the trail, the engine is bullet proof and theres something about its boxiness thats perfect, plus it has a bench seat in the back that folds down LOL theres no replacement for a cherokee.

The XJ can be kinda broken and still work enough to get me back and forth to work until I get the time/money to fix it.
I love that I can actually do work on it and things turn out actually working properly. I have had VERY limited mechanical experience before the XJ. Might take me 4 times longer than it should but I manage to actually be able to fix the part or problem.
That it has done everything I ask of it and more.
It is a perfectly acceptable Daily driver, weekend warrior or trail rig bone stock and even better with a few mods.
There are almost infinite ways to make it stand out from others of its kind and it automatically stands out among other vehicles.
Light weight therefore easy to solo push if needed..... and yes, I have several occasions now.
oh and the simple fact that "It's a Jeep thing"
lol
