What does that mean "actually set up for mud". How is a Jeep built for mud different from say, mine ... ? Might be something good to know. Even rocky trails get muddy some times.

I like scenic mountain trails, narrow tracks through trees with a few obstacles to keep the heart pumping. Rock crawling and climbing, but I guess my favorite is snow, really deep snow, it is great in the winter when it is powdery, and it is just as fun in the spring when it is beginning to melt.
The only kind of wheeling I hate is mud, to much dam trouble to clean up after the fun. Couple hours fun=twice the time cleaning up, checking all springs, control arms bushings, u joints, diffs, and greasing everything.

Im in Tennessee so most all trails around that we ride are mud/dirt trails with obstacles and some rocks. I aint none into all out rock crawling. We ride Bryants Cove out Miners Path every once in a while and its rocky and it will beat you to death.
Oh and night riding to me is the best time.. Unless you're in an area you're not familiar with.

there is no skill involved with "mudding". i like to chose my lines, which is why i love rocks. i would rather dent my truck up then have it get full of mud and rot everything out.

I like trail riding a lot, & some rocks/obstacles. Don't really like mud much.
By far, my favorite has to be urban wheeling. When I lived in Philly, I used to wheel my YJ over all kinds of crap. Up steps, off little concrete walls, odd concrete & blacktop slopes on the sides of truck docks. & other places that a skateboarder would appreciate.
Also these big piles of snow in shopping mall parking lots from when they plow. I sure do miss those.

Ya I prefer the sand bumpy trails with trees and big holes of sand because if I get stuck in the sand I can get out easier then the mud. I just like getting my jeep dirty but mud scares me since I have 234k miles on my jeep.

You find out your starter is shot and ur stuck 12 miles away from your cabin in the middle of a national forest
And you and your 2 buddies have to walk out.... at night....
