$3.49 here, suddenly it doesn't seem so high. I really can't complain after driving my Dakota a year. I had to fill it up twice a week on a 15 gallon tank, my XJ is on 32 m/ts and I've never put more than $40 in it and it's rare I have to fill up more than every other week.

I would love a 4.0 litre nearly bought one other day it had the gas not Gas conversion.
yes that is true, but my xj is my only vehicle, so no matter what i have to pay the gas prices, just don't see the use in getting all worked up over it

So true, however knowing that money I have earned, gets taxed big time and large percentage goes to bum's who don't want to get off their butts is annoying.

I put around 7-800 miles on it a month, same as the Dakota and it's a 3.9 v6 on new 235 a/ts.

The Dakota is a pig with hardly any power and I have to floor it constantly. The XJ I don't drive nearly as hard. The XJ also is straight piped, has a new cylinder head, and new exhaust header and I did a full tune up when I did the head and I seafoam it regularly.

Yeah I would rather have a turbo diesel but here the diesel is actually a lot higher than regular gas as the government subsidized the bio diesel program and mandates a certain amount of diesel sold has to be bio diesel which is more expensive.

Our diesel is a couple of pence per litre dearer than petrol.

I top mine off every payday (week) and the needle is usually sitting somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 tank. Sometimes, I do have to drive further than normal but, I never let it get below 1/4 tank before adding to it.
Reason: My gas gauge moves ALOT when the level is anywhere below full. I was keeping an eye on it one day...........sitting still, the needle was exactly on 3/4. When I would accelerate, it would drop almost to 1/2 and if I had to stop quickly, it would rise almost to the full mark.
I'm guessing this is due to the fuel level sensor being near the front of the tank.

here in my country (U.A.E) DUBAI fill it for 25$ from light on , in Saudi Arabia the full is something like 10$ from light one in qatar its like 15 $ all 95 octan .

this is the route https://maps.google.ae/maps?client=s...ie=UTF-8&hl=en

its 500 mile one why also there is deference in the gas quality my jeep hates saudi arabia gas but who cares it just 10 $ for full tank.

fill the jeep for more than 40-50 $ is sux
you pay for gas more than you pay for oil change lol or coolant change !!

You wanna know why gas is so much cheaper there? Because you don't have to "import" it. The amount of fuel just one of those tankers burns getting it here would blow your mind.
