We dont import our oil here in Canada, but yet we are paying like we do. Over $120 to fill my tank these days, and I never go under 1/4 tank. Close to $6 a gallon is ridiculous.
On my trip across Canada earlier this year my cheapest fill up from empty was still almost $70. Remember that governments share is about 60% of the marked prices and the higher the price goes the higher percentage they make.

also you have a big problem price is deferent in the city than the country side or from state to state (huge deference) why ?
was in paris last year the gas price in paris way more than out side in our countries its the exactly same in every gas station even if it was different companies ( we just have 3 ) our country smaller than TX we don't need more than 3) also the price well never changed AT ALL last time they increase the price 5 years ago but they give us more salary for that im talking about UAE and Qatar.
in saudi arabia its the same from 70s
