should i take off my fender flares all around? my front passenger flare does not match up to the bracket correctly and the new bigger tires i jus bought would have more space and i was wondering if it mattered if i took them all off? any opinions?

hell yea that looks good as hell! what do i do about the trim thing that holds on the fender? does that come off?

I ripped mine off, it was one of the first things I did. I had to take one of the rear bumper end caps off to get to the last bolt on the tail light cover, well it came off broken...so it took all the caps off, then took the fender flares off so everything would match. lol.

negative, there are other opitions, trimming and stuff but dont compromise the structural intergrity of the 1/4 pannels

I take mine off before the trees do..

I tend to run alot of tight woods and the trees jump out and touch you..

make sure its legal if you gonna take them off. that the tire doesnt stick to far out past where you flares would be. i wanna take mine off but im pretty sure itd be illigal for my tires would stick to far out without my flares

im wanting to take them off today lol but i dont get how to get the bracket off that holds the flare on? the metal piece that the plastic locks into...how do i get that off?
if anyone can let me know that would be great

they are just bolted on from the inside of the fender. i broke every bolt taking mine off.

There's no max the tire can stick out of the wheel wells..

Yup, 10mm nuts on the inside of the fender. In the front you might have to pull back the rubber fender liner crap, to be able to get at them. Then just start removing the bolts (or breaking them, it's a toss-up which one happens).

I took mine off, painted them, then put them back on. The wife likes it with them on, but I want to pull em again and cut. Guess I will have to catch her out of town one weekend and go to it

I took my flares off broke all the bolts didnt like the look drilled out some new holes and put my flares back on they are required by law here anyway.

When i took the flares off my jeep i just slid the flares forward and they came off. its like the flare locks into the panel bolted to the fender.

I cut my fenders and modded the flares and reused them!






This side isnt painted yet. Bout to fix that in a few.

i like what you did, the stock flares i think are really attractive, just draw a line on top of where the stock flares rest, cut along the line and move the flares up. you keep the flares for legal issues and aesthetics but still have the clearence. win win in my opinion
