ok. so all you have to do is buy a universal hanger that has the metal strap comming off the top of it. then run a sheat metal screw and attach it.
like this one. then you just put a standard u clamp at the bottom of it. and ur done.Fagettaboutit.

Anyone who has listened to thos clips on the first page... donot go by the 1st clip with the spr 40. it is missleading. that is a muffler welded into the stock exhaust. i hear the diff.
the spr 44 clip is a 2.5" c/b possibly with a high flow cat. thus making the spr 44 sound deeper. put that same set-up on the spr 40 and you will be able to hear that the 40 does have aslightly deep tone. just my 2cents.

i did that and i love the way mine sounds. just a little info for ya. Do not buy an after market o2. i went through 2 of them in a month.
I had to go to the dealer for a mopar 02. its something to do withe the voltage signal in the aftermarket ones not being corrrect or somethin like that. i 've read others on here having simmilar issues. on mine the 02 sensor bulbs were noticably different. good luck and lets see some pics of ur xj.
