i did a quick little mod my friend showed me last night. wouldnt say a mod but more of a removal..theres a cone inside of the tube that connects your air filter box to the tube that goes to your throttle body. just get a screw driver and pry it out. its a cone that restricts the air flow.(i guess thats what it does) but taking it out makes sense to me lol. ill try to take some pics when i get off work

i did it to mine and made it shift smoother and sooner.

what size wing nut did u use?

 

Same size as your sway bar end link.

I honestly don't know as I don't run any sway bars. Im sure if you went to a hardwarestore they'd help you match it up.

i would love to do that but the cops here will give u a $180 ticket for it even with tube doors and mirrors

I don't have personal experience but the cops are jerks in my town and I guarantee they would write me a ticket, got pulled over for doing 3 mph over, is that ridiculous or what?

 

thats crazy lol my speedo aint accurate so i can get a ticket for speedin and faulty parts if the cop wants to be a hard @$$

 

Wow that's sucks that you can't run door less I'm in IL and I don't even need mirrors for when I take mine off.
