Frotn sway bars
I personally have never owned a cherokee with a front sway bar and i dont see the need really. Ive had a few cars that didnt have them factory but i read somethign that i feel is absurd on a page about making rear bpe from rear sway bar mounts this was at the bottom of the page
note! Do not ever run your xj on the street without the front swaybar! You are a dangerous and stupid moron if you do.
i do beleive that caution needs to be taken when removing and driving with out a front sway bar but to call some one a stupid moron i feel is not needed what say you

I don't have it, it wasn't on when I bought it. I cut the axle side mounts off when I went OTK with my drag link.
To each their own, its your **** if something happens and your at fault.

I don't tow very often (i do haul **** for the garden) but when I do I connect it. Otherwise, except for the 65+mph interstates which I rarely travel,it's disconnected. Makes traveling our rural roads and off road alot nicer. I do have high psi monotube shocks and recommend them for those who are going to run on the road w/o the front sway bar. Condition of the suspension components also make a big difference.

This subject has been beat to death. This is more a criticism of the writing style of someone you don't even know. Who cares? The author is probably just tired of hearing people say, "I've driven without a front sway bar for years and never had a problem". A sway bar is a critical component of your suspension, especially on the steered axle, but can be limiting for off-road articulation. That's why god invented disconnects.

I only keep mine because my jeep sees the highway pretty often. There was one occasion when I made an 80+mph panic swerve and I feel as if I wouldn't be here without my front sway bar. I'd say it's no big deal if it's not a dd and doesn't see highway or towing use.
