WHO WANTS TO BE SICK??????
for fun google the current price of gas in Venezuela I guarantee it will make you sick. looks like .17 cents US a gallon as of February 23, 2012.
yes they have oil, but the govt subsidizes the gas, where we have oil, but it "pullutes too much" according to EPA, & gas is allowed to be traded on the stock market. so until people wake up, & demand the govt take responsibility, we are pretty much stuck bent over without any lube.
a few years ago, the govt was fining people that were driving on alternative fuels, & also trying to regulate small people from producing their own, unless they had a license & lots of hurdles to own a re-finery. that was for people running waste vegetable oil, where alternative fuel was free without road tax, the govt decided they wanted their cut.
same is happening with electric vehicles, govt. wants tax they loose because people can plug in.
I can go on, about all kinds of vehicles with good mileage throughout history, & today we cant get decent mileage even with hybird technology, but wont unless asked. & a good part of the year I ride a motorcycle & it gets 50 to 60mpg.
