I lay my seats down in the back for my dogs almost everyday. I love keeping my ZJ interior clean but one of my dogs in a German Shepherd and she loves to get hair everywhere. I want to tear out the carpet in the rear for a nice smooth, clean look (no pun intended, lol). What are some different materials I can replace the carpet with that I can just wipe down real easy. I also want to carefully cut out the carpet in the back of the seats so when I lay the seats down it is all the same material. does that make sense? All the dark brown carpet in the pic I want to pull out and replace. I was thinking of course some rubber material or a neoprene type of material or something waterproof?? Give me any ideas at all, and of course PICS are always welcome.. we all love seeing those. This is what it looks like now.

I usually buy my plastic sheets from here >

Find the ones that fit your needs and the price you can afford and go from there.

I've seen a lot of guys take out the carpet in the rear and just bedline it, if you are wanting to redo the carpet on the back of the seats for when you lay it down I guess that would work too, easy to wash out and wipe down.

what about a rubber mat for the back of a pick-up you would just have to cut some templates out of posterboard draw them on to the mat and cut them out with a utility knive use some fender washers and some self tap screws then u in business wipes off easy and waterproof

Is the issue the hair.. or the dirty carpet? I wouldnt want my pups lying on the bedliner, and the heat from underneath.

Dye the carpet black... and just vac occasionally.

Thats a good idear.. Cabela's has a few items i remember seeing. This one you could reverse to back of seat and cargo floor over the carpet. Shake it out and fold away when not in use. Or they might have something better..
