Im trying to change lol it was basically a screw it and see if this works before bringing the bfh out and whack the inside of the wheel to get it off as this was a honda civic that had cut springs so basically where i needed to hit was tons of suspension parts i couldnt hit so i tried the safest ways first. Plus shop manager doesnt want us grabbing the wheels as we can damage and scratch them and with these being chrome basically it came to mind. I tried whacking the outside with my foot till it didnt work then the rubber side of the gun on it, That didnt work so tried grabbing it and giving it a good tug (bump testing the car is your best friend) and yep this bull**** so even the shop manager had a struggle getting it off as it took 40 mins to break it free while i was watching from the side lol. So he was like still bleeding go home then oh well an hour loss from work thats it. But yes i took it off because the screens we use are touch screen and the gloves refuse to work with them so i had to take them off and put some comments in and forgot to put them back on.

Inside of tires... You would be amazed at what I have found inside tires over the years. One time I had ran out of cigarettes and was too busy doing tires to get some. The next tire I dismounted had a well rounded pack of smokes and lighter in it. lol What's the chances of that ever happening again?

Lol, got snake bit from a tire one time too. Fang stuck in the sidewall. I used to have pictures of my hand somewhere. Now I use a rag to run around inside trying to find what made the hole.
Seriously though, wrenches, tire probes, coins, notebooks, pens, a girl's phone number on a slip of paper, all kinds of stuff. And yep I called her too, and explained where I found her number. lol

lol actually i found a skittle inside a tire before which was pretty funny if you think about it as the last time that guy got tire work was back in 08. But yes that day was so hectic being tax return week and every big *** truck comes to the shop wanting all 4 new heavy big tires and then a dually oh my back loved that one. Then this little s*** banger rice burner came in like oh finally an easy little car thats getting 2 tires this should be a piece of cake well more like it took a piece of my hand with it! I told my shop manager if you take this car out make sure to throw it off a cliff and he just laughed. Also naww ***** mittens or not theyre nice to have when dealing with tires especially when theyre full of the spiky little bastards called hitch hikers or when youre dealing with a tire that has a huge thing of poop splatted on it. Or when a farmer came in with a tractor tire full of manure man that smell stank up the shop for hours.

Old leather gloves. Long sleeved shirt.
Noticed that Edd on Wheeler-Dealers always, always put on red gloves before undertaking anything mechanical.

Any "throw away" gloves either tear or my hands get stupid sweaty and they just irritate me so I just go bare handed. Sometimes I'll wear nitrile gloves depending on the fluids or chemicals such as working with kerosene or working in a cleaning tank just cause those chemicals are crazy harsh.
Otherwise I just use $12 mechanix gloves and throw them away when they are either to gross or got far to wet or oily.
