Rubicon super flex 4.5 lift

The diesels are certainly more rare than any other jeep, at least here in the states.
unfortunately a lot of people willing to spend 4K on a Cherokee want a clean jeep, with low miles, and minimal upgrades.(so they can pick and choose what they want.)
If the body is mint and the interior is complete and clean then you may find a buyer, but here in the Chicago-land you'd be lucky to get 2500 for pretty much ANY Cherokee with over 150K
and as a side note I wouldn't necessarily call new u joints, bearings, ball joints, tie rods, even engine bearings, an upgrade as much as I would consider it maintained and repaired. Most Cherokees with that mileage will need those parts sooner than later, if not already replaced.

Originally from Jersey myself, DE now but I understand what you mean. I wish mine was mostly manual, ripping the carpet out and bedlining makes the wires more of a hassle. Plus race seats mount to manual brackets which are different.

Yessir. I prefer my jeeps to have manual everything (except trans, love my AW4). Makes life easier and IMO, more of a Jeep. Don't get me wrong, power windows are a wonderful thing but it adds to the nostalgia when you grab that handle and crank that window.
