Mastercraft just replaced their a/t2's with a new one.. atx or atz I believe. The At2's are what I've been running for 20k now and they continue to impress me on the highway, in the mud, and ESPECIALLY in the snow. The atz's my father just put on his wrangler are a good looking, quiet tire and if my experience with their predecessor is any indication, they're a hell of a tire for $550/installed. Just more food for thought...

ummmmmm. no ****. i DO realize that im on stock backspace rims. i put them on there. My POINT was that my Dunlop Rovers (235/75R15 on stock backspace rims) DIDNT rub. Due to their tread not ever being CLOSE to 17/32's. so it sort of DOES have to do with the tires. but ty for your help.

I just put on a set of Cooper at3, 235/75/15. I got them via Discount Tire $100 rebate and Cooper $75 rebate. About $325 delivered, and got them mounted and balanced for under $80. These tires are great in rain, back muddy-graveley roads, no snow yet. Super quiet, canʻt even hear them. My xj is a 2000 and only has 56,000 on it so I expect them to last a while. I might have gone with 255/70/15 looking back though.

I have the general grabber at2 on mine in 235/75/15 Got them through tire rack for just over 500 shipped. They've impressed me in everything except really deep mud. Theyre a great trail tire and great in the snow too. I would recommend them to anyone.

It's been beaten to death in other threads like this one, because there's always THAT GUY that disagrees, but Duratracs are my favorite AT tire.
