#32
Oh I know, I have doing some research as well. Again, appreciated brother!
If I go with the MTRs I will try to post a log on performance, so others can use it to aid in there decision as well...

Id say you can't really go wrong with either. Seen a lot of good about both. When I was trying to decide what to get i saw some not so good experiences with the mtrs in the mu and we do a lot of mud around here. The km2 looked to me like it would be a little more aggressive in the mud so that's what I went with.
I have about 5k miles on mine and wheel them once a week at least. I don't have one complaint they balanced out real easy most I used was 5oz and mine are 35s. They'd wearing good and have great road manners and they work awesome in the woods. They're obviously still just a mud terrain, they're no bogger in the mud but you keep em spun up and clean they do just fine. only had the mud stop me once so far and it took six people weighing down the jeep and ruts up to the rockers to do so.

I don't know what's wrong wit your eyes cause I think the kevlars look way more aggressive.

Not at all to me. One side has some decent lugs, then part looks like an all terrain, the some tiny lugs next to that. Looks to me like the inner part of the tire would pack with mud very quickly, which is what I have heard. Not trying to start a debate, just stating a fact. If you look at a km2 it's almost all rather large forward propelling lugs, kinda like a much less agressive bogger. I've actually had a lot of not so bright people call mine boggers.

Have you seen the kevlars in person? The giant gaps between the outer lugs make up for the small gaps in the center tread.

Only problem with the STTs are the lack of three ply sidewalls. If you do lots of rock trails the sidewalls are a little on the flimsy side, know a couple of people that tore them. The STTs flex really good though and are amazing for wheeling in deep snow. ( read 2.5 plus feet not just 6 inches )

Yea I have. They were a 33 compared to my 35 but same width. I just don't agree. That ok? Like I said, can't go wrong with either tire, both will work good on and off road, but both are still just a mud terrain. Although the most impressive m/t I've used. Funny a "mud terrain" is just about everything but.

Ya it's ok, haha. Not like there's anything I can really do about it anyway.
