That is a great idea. I have a flintlock muzzleloader that is nearly 5 feet long and that would solve the dilemna of wear to haul it in the XJ.

yea that might work too. you just gotta work on the positioning because if its too close to the front then it block the driver door and you might hit your head on it haha. also check your state laws! you dont wanna get caught with guns hangin up in your car. its legal down here but just in case your state is different

My only thing would be that scope coming of its zero. Would really **** me off if it was my gun, and I missed a good buck because of it. And I hope to god you don't leave it in there when you're stopping places lmao, you'd be out a gun and a window REEAALL quick.

oh i know. mines unsighted right now cuz somebody dropped it when we were moving. talkin bout pissed! and nah i dont leave it in there, its just for huntin or taking it around. its usually just a shotgun, I was just seeing if the scope would fit. but they dont rattle around so the scope shouldnt get knocked around

I've been trying to figure this out for awhile, I use the backseat so I can't do the back door window, anyone else have pics of what they've done? I'd be interested in something that's very accessible but not inconvient. Thanks. Coach.
